Ginger Salad Dressing
As we’ve mentioned before, ginger possesses several anti-inflammatory properties and benefits that can help to combat painful knees. To reduce inflammation, and its subsequent aches and pains, follow the recipe below.
Ginger Salad Dressing Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
- 1 ½ cups olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup minced onion
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Directions
Using a small to medium sized bowl, combine and whisk together the ginger, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, onion, mustard, honey, and pepper. Next, as you continue to whisk, slowly begin to add in the olive oil until it the oil is fully incorporated into the rest of the mixture. Finally, pour the resulting dressing mixture into a glass container (or jar) and store in the refrigerator until needed. (For best results, served chilled).
