- ⅔ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¾ cup milk (unsweetened almond milk works well if you’re a fan of it.)

- ½ tablespoon orange juice (fresh-squeezed if available)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup finely chopped candied (crystallized) ginger
Directions
